Wrong Date in StaffCover
Q. Although I have changed the School Calendar to the correct date, to the point at which it says it will close down and be correctly dated when I open it again, StaffCover does not seem to want to show the correct date - so on Friday when I was trying this repeatedly it kept saying 'Monday 28th September'. It seems to think it is Monday whichever day you switch it on.
A. It appears that your copy of StaffCover isn't registered to your school - instead it is still just marked as a demo-version (that is why the school name at the top of the opening screen says "Laura Norder High School" - it is the imaginary school in our demo-version). In the demo-version, you always look at Monday's cover (as an example).
To register to your school now, please contact the Support Centre, giving the name of your school, and ask for your school name to be registered.
Please also check that TimeTabler has your correct school name at the top of its opening screen, as usually StaffCover imports the school name from TimeTabler, so if TimeTabler is wrongly registered, you will have this problem again when you next import from TimeTabler into StaffCover.
