How is 'Satisfaction' calculated in Options ?
Options presents two ways of calculating satisfaction:
- ‘Student satisfaction’ is based on the number of students who have had all their choices satisfied.
- ‘Choice satisfaction’ is based on the number of choices satisfied.
So if 100 students made 4 choices, and 380 of those 400 choices were satisfied, the ‘Choice satisfaction’ would be 95%.
But if only 90 of those 100 students had all 4 of their choices satisfied, the ‘Student satisfaction’ would be 90%.
You are shown both these figures in Options (for example, on the Current Pattern screen).
