Promoting a Batch, to a higher Year

Promoting a Batch (for example, from Year 10 to Year 11):

At the end of the year, you do not need to re-enter all the activities for the new Year 11 ... as it will typically be similar to last year's Year 10, you can just 'Promote the Batch' for your Year 10 batch.

You can do this at :   'Activities -> Promote a Batch'
or at:  '2  Activities, Update your Batches globally -> Promote a Batch from one Year to another'.

Note : if you have a Batch consisting of a mix of Year 10 & Year 11
[or a Batch of Year 12 mixed with Year 13]
then you need to Delete the activities for the older students first  eg. Year 11 [or Y13],
otherwise when Year 10 is 'promoted' to become Year 11 you will have a Batch consisting of both the old and the new Year 11.
