Changing the Year Numbers

I wish to change the Year Numbers for my school:

  Q.       I scheduled my timetable using Year Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ...but now I find that my MIS expects NC Year Numbers of 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13.
How can I change the Year Numbers on my completed timetable ?

  A.      The solution is:

-- 1. Take a Backup first.
[Externally, or in the AutoBackup Library, or both.]

-- 2. Then go to Basic data -> School Structure -> Years & Sites.
Change 'Style of names' to 'Custom',
and then click on '1' in the (narrow) 'Year' column and type '7' instead.

What you were calling year 1 will now be called year 7.
Do similarly for the other years.

You can now export to your MIS, and the export will call the years 7-13.

Then, if you wish, post-export, when all is good in the MIS, you could choose to Restore your Backup and so go back to years 1-7 for your own reporting & printouts, if you wish.
