Uninstalling TimeTabler

Remove / Uninstall

If you need to uninstall TimeTabler for any reason, then you won't be able to do it via "Add/Remove programs" ... this is because, to keep things simple, we don't register TimeTabler with 'Windows Installer'.   (Also, the permission at some schools doesn't allow it).

So to remove your existing copy of TimeTabler ... the simplest way is just to delete the entire folder where you installed TimeTabler, which is "C:\TT4Win" (if you installed TimeTabler to the default destination folder).  All the files are stored in that folder and its subfolders.  You may also then want to remove the shortcut to TimeTabler from your desktop.

But make sure you take a Backup before you delete the folder (by clicking "Backup" on the opening screen) so you can go back if you need to.  And note that you don't need to uninstall any of our software between years just to get a fresh start - there is always a way within each program to have a fresh start for this new year (see the articles in this KnowledgeBase and if in doubt, please ask).

Similarly for our other software programs:  Options (stored in "C:\OPTwin" by default) ... and StaffCover (stored in "C:\Cover" by default).

Similarly for the demo/tutorial versions: TimeTabler demo (stored in "C:\TT4Demo") ... Options demo (stored in "C:\OPTDemo") ... and StaffCover demo (stored in "C:\CoverDemo").
