Teacher 'Clashes'
Q I am used to entering 'teacher clashes' in my old timetabling software (eg: Nova-T) ... now I have moved to TimeTabler, can I enter them there ?
A In TimeTabler, each of your teachers can only be in one place at once - just as in real life. This ensures that your timetable will always work. It also stops you going down any "blind alleys" which later prove unworkable and need 'un-picking'.
However, occasionally, it may be useful to mark a teacher as teaching 2 lessons in the same period - temporarily - while you reach a decision about what to do.
You can do this in TimeTabler by creating a 'dummy teacher' (with similar initials) or a 'special resource' ... and assigning it to the second/other lesson.

Note: you will want/need to resolve your clashes before you export to your MIS.
