Curriculum Diagram: appearance
The problem:
After I have entered my activity-batches, and then view the Curriculum Diagram on the Curriculum Diagram Screen [section D], the diagram for some years is not displaying as expected. What am I doing wrong ?
(Also the Teaching Group Names are not showing correctly, which is important for an export to some MIS).
The Solution:
There are 3 possibilities:
1.
If (for example) you have a class with a Class Scheduling Name of 10ABCD, then you must also enter (on the Classes Screen, section C6 in the Manual) the individual classes of 10A, 10B, 10C, 10D (even if you don't need to use them for your activities).
If you don't do this then the Curriculum Diagram Screen (section D22 in the Manual) will not display the boxes correctly.
And the Teaching Group Names will not be formed correctly, which is important for exporting to some MIS systems.
2.
Before you click to display the Curriculum Diagram Screen you should visit the SuperBatch Screen (section D13 in the Manual) to ensure that you have ticked the correct Batches to include in the 'SuperBatch' collection.
3.
If, despite this, your Curriculum Diagram is still not showing as you think it should, then contact the Support Centre and send [as attachments]:
(i) The single file that you get when you do FileMenu->TT-Backup. It is called TT4data.bak
(ii) A diagram of the curricular structure that you are intending.
This is best done on a spreadsheet, like the examples shown at
https://www.timetabler.com/SupportCentre/CurriculumDiagram.xls
and in Chapter 2 of 'The Timetabler's CookBook'.
