PPA in StaffCover
Q How do I add a PPA period to the staff timetable within StaffCover?
I do not wish to reload the full timetable. I am aware that I can assign a loading cover of 5 to that lesson. Is there another way?
A This isn't obvious - it's a fairly well-hidden option - but you can go to "Customize -> Changes to the timetable -> Small change to the timetable". Then you highlight the free period and change its class to "{special loc}" (at the bottom of list of classes). Then "Confirm" and select the lesson again.
This time a button appears called "Change Description" which allows you to change the description for this "Special Location". Provided you had "PPA" as a choice in TimeTabler, it will now appears as one of your descriptions (keep clicking the button until you see it - it cycles you round the list of possible descriptions).
