Finding / Restoring missing Data in StaffCover

Finding missing data in StaffCover 

  Q.   When I start StaffCover I get the message:  "Cannot open C:/cover/data/Setup.TT4."
Why is this?

  A.   The message "Cannot open C:/Cover/Data/Setup.TT4" means that:
-- a) either: that file is missing
-- b) or: it's there but you're not able to read it for some reason.

So as a first step, can you check in the folder "C:/Cover/Data" and see if the file "Setup.TT4" is there.

-- a) If the file is missing, then you need to Restore your StaffCover data (assuming that you made a Backup of it).  Do this via "FileMenu -> SC-Restore".

-- b) If the file is there, right-click on it, choose 'Properties' and un-tick 'Read-only' then 'Apply'.
If that doesn't help, check with your IT manager that you have permission to read and write to the file.
