Updating to latest version of software, at home
Q. My school has renewed its licence, so my school machine/computer has been updated, but how can I now update my program at home ?
A. If you have recently received a web-download (or a CD) to Update the school computer, then you can just use the same file (or CD) to Update your computer at home.
Alternatively, if you haven't got a recent Update, then on the opening screen of the current school version of TimeTabler [or Options or StaffCover] click on >Check for Updates.
If there is a later version then download the file [it is called Setup.EXE].
You can then use this file [put it on a memory-stick] to update both the school computer and your home computer.
As a second step you may then need to 'synchronise' the data on the 2 machines. To do this, see the short HelpMovie on "Transferring Data to another machine at home/school".
Thereafter use >Check for Updates regularly, on each machine, to ensure that you always have the very latest version.
