Class Timetable Printouts: 'Advanced' Settings

The 'Advanced' button on the Master Class Timetable and Individual Class Timetable printout screens, allows you to customize and fine-tune how your class timetable will look.   See the Manual - and the Help button - for more details.

-- Example setting: Class Pattern:
With this setting you can choose how you wish to present your combined classes (eg: 7AB or 7CD or 7ABCD, etc). The meanings of the 3 possible “Class Patterns” are explained in Section J15 in the Manual, and if you click the Help button ... but taking a Class 7ABCD as an example:

Setting Effect Reason for choosing
Exclusive
you see a separate row for 7ABCD, which displays only 7ABCD’s lessons
enables you to look along the 7ABCD 'row' and check all the lessons for that specific class
Inclusive
7ABCD’s lessons are shown vertically across 7A, 7B, 7C and 7D
This is most like what your staff & students would expect to see
All- Inclusive
you are shown all lessons across the whole year (Year 7, in this example).
This is the most vertically compact timetable
