How are Lessons assigned during scheduling ?

Assigning Lessons to the Schedule:
How does TimeTabler find or recommend the best period ?

TimeTabler uses many factors for this, including:

- lesson-spacing (spreading-out lessons of the same activity, throughout the week or cycle)
- day-blocking (lessons that should not be on the same day as each other)
- obeying any 'timetabling rules' that you have set
- obeying the constraints of Container Blocks or Consistent Grouping, if you have used them
- looking at which Classes (Students) are busy or unavailable
- looking at which Teachers are busy or unavailable
- looking ahead at what other lessons have yet to be placed, and where they might go
- the 'Quality' that would be achieved if a lesson was assigned to a particular period
- etc
