Reviewing and Evaluating the Timetable you have created
Overview
Once it is in operation, it is important to evaluate your timetable, ideally in the first half-term of the new school year (September / October for most English schools). You will want to check how your timetable is working in practice, and to ask your staff and students (where possible) what is good - and less good - about their timetables.
You should encourage discussion and feedback.
This will be an important resource when you come to write next year's timetable (or if you make changes to your timetable during this year).
How to Evaluate
Some suggestions and ideas employed by schools are presented here: Evaluating your timetable.
And there are tools in TimeTabler to help you to judge and quantify the Quality of your timetable.
And/or if you have your own / further ideas that you would like our advice on, just let us know.
