Changes to the Cover Timetable 'Baseline'

Highlighting any recent changes to today's Cover

If you expect to send more than one Master Cover Timetable to your staff in a single day, due to changing circumstances, you can create and publish your current Cover Timetable, then click "Set as Baseline" on the Cover Timetable screen.

This will "Set this Cover Timetable as the Baseline" for today - in effect, it marks the last time you told your colleagues about the Cover Timetable you have planned.

If you then (later today) create another/new Master Cover Timetable today, then any changes from the Baseline will be highlighted / marked with the word:  [**UPDATED**].
This means that if your cover situation changes during the morning, and you have to issue more than one Cover Timetable, you and your colleagues can concentrate on the changes, rather than having to re-read the whole Cover Timetable.

How to use it:
- a) When you are happy with your cover for this morning, click:
... then choose "Yes".

- b) Thereafter, any time you print the Master Cover Timetable, any changes to the cover since the “Baseline” are highlighted like this, so that your colleagues are aware that something has changed:

- c) You can change/update the baseline at any time, by repeating step a).
